I hope you know how it feels… when someone breaks your heart…
“So that’s it?” asked Blaine, his voice shaking, but loud. It echoed in the silent auditorium. Everyone was watching Blaine Anderson stand up to Kurt Hummel, standing with the group of other Cheerios, back to Blaine. “Nothing that’s happened in the last two months matters to you anymore?”
Kurt didn’t want to look behind him to see Blaine standing there. He could only imagine what he’d do when he saw the hurt in those beautiful hazel eyes.
“Is your popularity more to you than - than what we had?” asked Blaine even louder. A few mutters broke out among the student body. “Was I just someone to help you with your grades - someone you could use and throw away, Kurt, like you have to people your whole life? Does the fact that I love you mean anything to you?”
The students around them were eating this up. Kurt’s heart dropped from his chest.
Blaine loved him?
“Well it’s nice to know where we stand,” said Blaine stiffly. “Kurt, I sincerely hope that one day….you know how it feels… when someone breaks your heart…like you did to me, right now.”
Then Kurt heard Blaine’s footsteps echo in the now silent auditorium - Blaine running away from him swiftly.
That’s when Kurt knew that he didn’t want Blaine to leave.
Kurt turned quickly, catching Blaine about to walk out of the double doors. “Blaine - wait!” he called out, quietly at first, than again, louder.
“Don’t you dare, Hummel,” said Santana suddenly, grabbing his wrist. “This is suicide.”
“I don’t care!” shouted Kurt. “Because I love him too and I couldn’t care less about - about all of this!”
Then Kurt ran after Blaine, hoping it wasn’t too late.
